When new clients are choosing timber windows, two of the most common concerns are often about lifespan and maintanence. However, unlike the timber windows of the past, our modern timber treatments are both durable and long lasting, with a 30 year warranty on rot and fungal attacks.
We have invested a great deal of time testing and developing the coating / paint finishes used across our ranges. The water based microporous systems that we use, means that the coating is both flexible and breathable, allowing timber to move naturally through the seasons, minimising cracking and peeling associated with traditional solvent based coatings. This menas that as long as you care for the timber window frames in our recommended manner, our standard wood windows won't need repainting for up to 10 years.
