DOUBLE GLAZING
All of our timber doors are factory glazed prior to fitting. We use high performance double glazing as standard which meets current building regulations for energy efficiency.
TRIPLE GLAZING
We also offer triple glazing as an optional extra to our timber doors. Originally designed for colder climate countries such as Scandinavia and Canada, triple glazing is seeing a surge in popularity as energy conservation becomes more important in our homes.
SINGLE GLAZING
In some listed properties especially those in conservation areas, we can offer like for like replacement of doors. In this instance, to achieve a truly authentic replacement we also offer single glazing.
ACOUSTIC GLAZING
Where noise pollution is a serious issue, acoustic glass can help to keep your living space quiet and peaceful. A special PVB membrane works by absorbing the sound energy and preventing it from travelling up the glass. In a double glazed unit this can reduce the noise pollution by up to 50%.
ARGON GAS, KRYPTON GAS & XENON GAS
We currently offer the option of Argon, Krypton and Xenon gas fills for timber doors. Gas fills can further help to improve the thermal efficiency of your timber windows as the thermal conductivity of this inert gas is lower than air.
